# Problem with install

 * I downloaded and installed wordpress. I am getting the following error
 * Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end, expecting ‘)’ in /home/a1836876/public_html/
   wordpress/wp-includes/deprecated.php on line 176
 * [http://heatherfugatedesigns.com/wordpress/wp-admin/install.php](http://heatherfugatedesigns.com/wordpress/wp-admin/install.php)
 * I haven’t touched the file, I used exactly what was downloaded. Do I need to 
   change this?

 * Try re-uploading all files & folders – **except** the wp-content folder – from
   a **fresh** download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of
   files & folder before uploading the new ones.
