 * It appears that your widget doesn’t work on the latest version of wordpress.
   
   I have a custom header widget area with a shortcode but it doesn’t show up on
   the frontpage like before.

 * I’m unable to replicate the issue [on the demo site](https://demo.preseto.com/widget-context/),
   for example — all widgets show up on pages as expected.
 * Could this be an issue with the theme where the whole sidebar is hidden on the
   homepage for some reason?
 * We would need detailed information on your setup — theme and plugins to try and
   replicate the issue. Could you please share that?

 * Sorry, I really can’t replicate the problem. Could you please make sure that 
   the sidebar area is actually present in the home page template?

 * Nevermind. I couldn’t wait so long for a reoly. I deleted your plug-in and instead
   I placed the slideshow with php only on the home page. Thank you
