Problem with links in ads

Using this theme: Bluemotion
There’s an option to add html code for ads.

Once I save, it returns the html with “\”‘s.

From this:

<img src=”http://themeforest.net/new/images/ms_referral_banners/468x60_FD.jpg&#8221; />

To this:
<img src=\”http://themeforest.net/new/images/ms_referral_banners/468x60_FD.jpg\” />

I’m curious as to why this happens. Maybe there’s a module under apache2? Would this be WordPress, the theme, or Apache?
