# Problem with Paths since server move

 * My host changed to a new server and the paths changed, now when I try and upload
   a file through worpress “Add Media Files to your Library” I get the following
   error.
 * Unable to create directory **/var/www/html/**psp/wp-content/uploads/2011/03. 
   Is its parent directory writable by the server?
 * The bit I have bolded is the old path, the new path should be
 * **/home/site-name/public_html/**
 * I can’t see where to change the path in the WP Install.
 * Any help?

 * Try changing the permissions on the wp-content directory to 766. If you still
   have problems, try 767, 775 or 777. Once your uploads are working, change the
   permissions on wp-content back to 755 again and check that everything still works
   OK.

 * Thanks for the advice esmi.
 * My host support managed to change the path by editing the WP database directly.
