# Problem with permalink

 * Each time I try to add **page** with number in title, any number like random 
   as well (317267) my permalink structure ends as 317267-2. So, instead of:
    domain.
   com/317267 I get domain.com/317267-2 Any ideas why is that!? Thanks.

 * have you worked on a same-titled post and trashed it?
 * The post still exists, even if it’s in the trash…..must be deleted permanently
 * Or does it happen to all posts regardlee?

 * It happenes only to pages odlly enought… and yes all posts/pages have being deleted
   permanently

 * -Try resetting your custom permalinks back to the default setting and renaming
   your WordPress .htaccess file. If that works, then try reading [Using_Permalinks ](http://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Permalinks)
   before setting a custom permalink structure again. If clearing your Permalinks
   does not alleviate the issue, this could be attributed to anything from a web
   server configuration to a bad WordPress install.

 * I’ll be moving to new server and try it then. As you said it can be anything 
   so I’m hoping a new clean install will magically help
