    my friend is author of the plugin blipbot ( [http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/blipbot/](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/blipbot/)).
   Actually, the newest version is 1.26 but on plugin’s page in sidebar is still
   1.21. He’s uploading plugin by the method on [http://weblogtoolscollection.com/archives/2007/06/17/listing-your-plugin-at-the-wordpressorg-plugin-directory/](http://weblogtoolscollection.com/archives/2007/06/17/listing-your-plugin-at-the-wordpressorg-plugin-directory/)
   Why the plugin’s version isn’t actual?

 * For people with this kind of problem: it’s probably because the plugin’s php (
   e.g. blipbot.php) file still has an old version number.
