We didn’t make any changes to the code that would interfere with Polylang. Is there a correlation between the WordPress 6 update and this issue?
You may want to report it to Polylang and see if it is a known issue.

It’s not working for you now though, and I’m trying to see if there is a correlation between when it stopped and a plugin or core update.

Did you check to see if there was a correlation between the WP 6 update and it stopping working?
Did you check with Polylang to see if there are any WP 6 or WooCommerce known issues?

I did a test on a copy of the site where I downgraded to 5.9.2

I may have found the problem.
Disabling in polylang the synchronization of custom fields in the product tab works
I still cannot translate the custom fields in the plugin: inside ” Custom Product Tab” there is no possibility to select a language per tab
I have also a problem with translating the custom product tabs.
Before everything went fine. After updates, I cant translate it anymore!
For all old products, the custom product tabs work on the front end. But if I post a new product (Dutch and English) the translating doesn’t work anymore.

If I create a product in Dutch and English… the plugin shows only the last modified product tab. So, if I change it in English, the dutch product tab shows it in English.
