# Problem with post update

 * Hi all. Using WP for year, but today suddenly got a problem. I made Wp install
   with Fantastico on my hosting for new site. Everithing goes well, but after creating
   first post i got problem.
    I can create post but if i want to make changes in
   it, i got problem. I cange text in post, press “update” but WP goes to list of
   posts and no changes have been made. So i cant create posts but later i cant 
   make any changes in them. May be some one got te same problem& Iam warking all
   day on it but no result? I tried to do install with fantastico, buy ftp upload…
   differet ways but the same problem… I think, it possible some problems with hosting
   or database… but i got no idea how to solve problem

 * Have you tried:
 * – deactivating **all** plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works,
   re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
 * – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related problems?
 * – [resetting the plugins folder](http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F)
   by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause
   problems.

 * TNX Esmi, I done all steps but i still got problem. I got it on default install,
   so problem is`nt in wp scripts. May be some troubles with db … may be encoding…
   If someone could help – i can give access to dashboard.. May be some parameters
   in db should me changed?

 * also i found that i can normal change post title with “quick edit”, but troubles
   still there in “normal” post edit

 * Try re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a **fresh** download
   of WordPress
