# problem with Pulling data from a csv

 * I am trying to pull data from a cvs file, this one to be exact:
 * [https://treesourcesystems.com/wp-content/imdata.csv](https://treesourcesystems.com/wp-content/imdata.csv)
 * When I write the shortcode [Gdoc Key=”[https://treesourcesystems.com/wp-content/imdata.csv”%5D](https://treesourcesystems.com/wp-content/imdata.csv”%5D)
 * It just returns with a bunch of random code. Am I formatting my CSV incorrectly?

 * What I see on the page you linked that you need help with is the following output:

       Error requesting data: cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 5001 milliseconds with 0 bytes received 
       ```
   
 * This is not “random code.” It’s [an error message that has been discussed on this forum](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/periodically-receiving-curl-error-28/)
   a lot of times over the years and is findable with a simple Internet search.

 * Thanks for the response. One of the responses discusses increasing the timeout
   length. How would I go about doing that?
