# Problem with Role Manager plugin

 * Hi there,
 * I am trying to use the Role Manager plugin as a way of moderating users who register
   at my site. When they first register, they have the ‘registrant’ role which has
   no abilities at all, including not being able to read the blog. Then when I have
   checked that I do want them to read my blog I can upgrade their role to subscriber
   where they would be able to read the blog. However when a ‘registrant’ logs in,
   they can read the blog with no problems. They can’t do anything else like get
   in to the admin interface, but they can definitely read the posts.
 * Is there something I am not getting, or is this just something that isn’t possible
   with the role manager plugin?
