    Hey,
    The background image is set to “cover” it’s designed to be a background for a div area. as a background it shouldn’t have any areas that must be visible unless you change the background “size” to “contain”. but to be clear this is a responsive theme. It doesn’t work to set a background for an area that is a set widget and requires that set with for the image to work.

    Test out the contain in your settings and hopefully that will explain better.
