# Problem with step 2 verfication using Authenticator

 * I have a WordPress blog [opentechinfo.com](http://www.opentechinfo.com) where
   I enable 2 step verification using google Authenticator but now I sold my old
   phone and I have no backup code. It remembers computer where I sign in 30 days
   but none of the device work. I also try backup send to my email but the reply
   was not insight so that code also not work. Please reply fast.

 * Try [manually resetting your plugins](https://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F)(
   no Dashboard access required). This will deactivate all of your plugins, including
   whichever one is providing the two-factor authentication.
 * Once you log in, deleting that plugin from the Plugins section of your Dashboard*
   should* clear the settings. Either way, you’ll likely be able to reinstall it
   and reactivate it to re-establish a new device for two-factor authentication.
