# problem with the server, HTTP response code 500 ()

 * Hello everyone,
 * I have the following error message when saving a table. When I have made changes
   to the table and press the save button, this is acknowledged with a foiling error
   message:
 * **There was a problem with the server, HTTP response code 500 ().**
 * The changes will not be taken into account. This is only the case with a table.
   With other (smaller) tables everything works smoothly.
   Question: what is the 
   reason for this? could it be that the table is too large or do server settings
   in the backend need to be changed?
 * my current WP version: 6.4.1

 * Most likely, this is indeed caused by something in the server’s configuration.
   To find out more, please set the `WP_DEBUG` constant to `true` in your site’s“
   wp-config.php” file, see [https://wordpress.org/documentation/article/debugging-in-wordpress/#wp_debug](https://wordpress.org/documentation/article/debugging-in-wordpress/#wp_debug),
   or maybe check the server’s error log file (if you don’t have access to that 
   your self, you web host company’s support team should have access).
 * This should then show more detailed error information when you then try again.
