# Problem with update_post_meta

 * Hi there,
 * I’m quite new to plugin scripting and I have a problem with the update_post_meta()
   function. Please have a look at this part of the code:
 * _[Code moderated as per the [Forum Rules](http://codex.wordpress.org/Forum_Welcome#Posting_Code).
   The maximum number of lines of code that you can post in these forums is **ten
   lines**. Please use the [pastebin](http://wordpress.pastebin.com/)]_
 * Any suggestions? If not: could the error be outside this part of the code?

 * Resolved. $action of wp_nonce_field and wp_verify_nonce wasn’t the same.
