 * Hello, I have made a mess of my wordpress site and now I cant get it back. What
I wanted to do was move it from my domain ninamarika.co.uk to a sub directory
ninamarika.co.uk/blog but this didnt seem to work. I was running it on ninamarika.
co.uk/old-site/wordpress for a short time whilst my site was being re built.
Now my new site is up and running I tried to update to 4.1 first of all and that
didnt work and everything seemed to not be working correctly anymore. So i accessed
my ftp and cut the wordpress directory out of the ftp and placed on my desktop,
with a view to being able to put it back if the next step didnt work. I then
tried to access my account via wordpress.org entering my log in details ninataylor
and password. but it wouldnt let me in. My intention was to move the blog to
the new directory ninamarika.co.uk/blog. I then tried to manually install wordpress
into a mysqldatabase which also didnt work. 123reg tell me i need to upgrade
my hosting account to enable wordpress but I didnt do this before so I am wondering
how I have had a blog all this time working. I then pasted the previous wordpress
directory back to its orginal location on my ftp being careful not to alter anything.
And it wont work. I get a favicon only when I access the url. Can you help please?
I have tried to setup a new wordpress blog but it says my name ninamarika has
been taken, but wont let me log in with my correct username and password. Can
you get me access to my account and help me change the directory to ninamarika.
   co.uk/blog?
 * Thank you

 * How to move a WordPress installation into a subdirectory is documented at: [https://codex.wordpress.org/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory](https://codex.wordpress.org/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory).
 * If your hosting company says they do not support WordPress on your package you
need to resolve that with them – I’m afraid I have no way of knowing what limitation
they may have imposed on your package or why you were able to get it working
   previously.
