Hello, I notice a small problem with the WP Rocket plugin. Indeed, when I replace a file with the Enable Media Replace plugin, the file is replaced. But, the problem is that I have to purge the page cache with WP Rocket to be able to download the correct updated file.

Is there a solution to have the correct file updated without purging the cache, or to automate the purging of the cache?

    Thank you for your reply

    Hi @epokk,

There is such a mechanism implemented in Enable Media Replace, but unfortunately not with caching plugins. Implementing such a solution is not as easy as it seems, so we will study if and how to do it. I don’t have any ETA and I cannot promise this will be added in the future, so I would recommend you to keep clearing the page cache for now. 🙂

    Thanks for your suggestions!

OK, I will continue to clear the cache when I replace a file in the media library.

Thank you for your reply !
