# problem with zip code

 * Hello, since this morning I have a problem with my Japanese ecommerce; when a
   customer try to chekout the zip code inserted is not validated and it continue
   to show an error message for invalid post code.

   when a customer tries to checkout on your site, is this correct?
 * Please could you clarify which Payment Gateway you are using on your site that
   is experiencing this issue? Also, if possible, please share a screenshot of the
   exact error message that is being displayed.

 * Additionally, in order to get a better understanding of your site setup, could
   you please share a copy of the following:
    - System Status – which you can find via **WooCommerce** → **Status**. Select
      Get system report and then Copy for support.
    - Fatal Error log: Share a copy of any fatal error log found under **WooCommerce**
      → **Status** → **Logs**.

 * Yes I confirmed that I receive the error  “Invalid Post code” error when a customer
   tries to checkout on my site.
 * I receveive this error for any payment type selected. At the moment I use pay
   on delivery and credit card using the Stripe plugin

   then you can provide us with the link, keep the file alive for some days while
   we check into the issue.

 * Can you please navigate under _WooCommerce > status > tools > update database_,
   and after a while check again to see if the issue persists?

 * As a work-around, you can disable postcode validation using custom code, [in this thread](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/please-enter-a-valid-postcode-zip-error-for-some-customers/)
   you can find an example, you can add the code directly in your functions.php 
   file or using a plugin like the [code snippets](https://wordpress.org/plugins/code-snippets/).
