# Problem WP 6.0

 * Good morning,
    Our site currently in production ([https://www.atimorganti.it/](https://www.atimorganti.it/))
   works regularly, we have changed hosting and we are running tests to update WP
   and Plugins.
 *  Our Test environment is [https://test.atimorganti.it](https://test.atimorganti.it),
   when we moved the site everything went well, but after updating the WP version
   from 4.7.10 to 6.0 some pages are not reachable, if I try accessing the toolset
   plugin menu presents me with the following message “A critical error has occurred
   on your website. Check the site administrator’s inbox for instructions.”
    but
   the mail does not arrive.

 * Moving from 4.7 to 6.0 is a big change. You are doing a major update and it looks
   like the theme code is not compatible with latest WordPress or some other 3rd
   party plugin.
 * I suggest updating step by step so that you can figure out where its breaking.
   You can also try commenting out particular line of code (highlighted in error
   log) or function and see if that helps to access the staging website backend.
