# Problems after migration

 * Hi there,
    I’ve made a manual migration from shared hosting to a vps. But I got
   some issues on my website, some images doesnt load.. It seems a CSS is not loading
   at all (text not in good colors)
 * When I inspect links it also appears that server is tryin to load :
    monsite.
   fr/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/image
 * If I look at upload folder image doesnt exist.
 * On the old host the source image is :
    monsite.fr/wp-content/uploads/elementor/
   thumbs/image
 * I dont understand what goes wrong here 🙁

 * Do you mean you copy all your files and moved it manually?

 * Exactly,
    I’ve downloaded all the files through FTP. Backuped database through
   phpmyadmin
 * Recreated a db and transfer files to the other server.
    Use a script to replace
   old url occurences.
 * Almost everything is working except those images/css not applied at all.
 * Links are supposed to be website.com/wp-content/uploads/elementor/thumbs/image.
   jpg
    but they are website/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/image.jpg
 * so I got a 404

 * It looks like you used Elementor to build your site, did you follow Elementor’s
   guide on how to perform a migration?

    Yes i did use elementor function to replace URL and then regenerate CSS
   but still same. The script I used : “Search-Replace-DB-master” Regards,

 * Migration is a technical process, it would have been okay if you had allow a 
   developer to help you in the first place to avoid losing some elements or files.
 *  However i would suggest perhaps you get in touch with your host to see if they
   could help or if you still have access to the older website, there ought to still
   be a solution
