# Problems creating backups

 * Hi,
 * Initially, I asked to Compress Backup Files by zipping them. I received the emails
   daily, as I requested. However, I was unable to unzip or use the backups.
 * So, then I unticked the Compress Backup Files box and now I do not receive my
   backups at all. I have chosen ‘save locally and email’. However, I cannot find
   the folder they are supposed to be saved to, and I am not getting the emails.
 * Please advise.

 * Unless you have specified a different path on your Settings page in the Database
   Backup section, the default location is wp-content > uploads > themes-security
   > backups.

 * My backup location is set to: /home4/concier4/public_html/wp-content/uploads/
   ithemes-security/backups
 * But I cannot find that folder on my laptop…
 * Also, I noticed, you said themes-security, but my default folder is ithemes-security….
   should there be an ‘i’ or not?
 * NB-I cannot find this folder either: home4/concier4/public_html/wp-content/uploads/

 * ps – when I posted my original post last week, I changed the backup settings 
   for backup method: to email only. I just realised I am still not receiving the
   emails. As I mentioned before, the option to zip the file is unticked, as that
   did not work.

 * I am having the same problem with one site only.
    I just installed the plugin
   to 2 other sites for clients for which I did receive the emails. I did the same
   set up for all. Don’t get it! Looking forward iTheme Support reply also!
