# problems image upload

 * Since today i have strange things with my wordpress. Now suddenly i’m unable 
   to upload new images. It gives an error like not able to or an error like service
   unavailable or not enough capicity.
    I’m however able to upload any other file
   then an image. Like .txt or .pdf and very small images. What could be the problem.
   Is it pherhaps my theme (panaromic) All the rights on unix level are correct (
   otherwise i could not upload a different file type)

 * Hey Peter,
 * Sorry to hear about the troubles you are having. It sounds as if the files you
   are trying to upload are either too large or not allowed as a file type as you
   mentioned. However, it could also be a plugin conflict issue.
 * I would check out your file upload size limit setting and/or check the file type
   you are trying to upload and make sure it is allowed. If this fails, try disabling
   plugins to see if there is a conflict.

 * Hi Mike,
    thanks for the response. It is a jpg file. only 150kb aprox. Now the
   strange thing sometimes when i try it 1 in 500 times. It will upload. The latest
   try i get this error *** The server is temporarily unable to service your request
   due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later. ****
 * is there a way i can send you the file to see if there is anything wrong with
   it.

 * i also deactivated all my plugins.

 * I installed add server. this is a plugin that is able to add media from a ftp
   directory. With this i was able to upload the image.
    Therefore i ask myself 
   could the problem be my webhosting provider or pherhaps the media upload php 
   page from wordpress or is this provided by the theme.
