# Problems Importing to Self-Hoested server

 * I’m porting my friend’s Blog who he had since 2006. First he was in Blogspot 
   then imported his blog to WordPress.com in august 2009 and now he wants to move
   to my server (I already have my own wordpress blog with no problems on that server).
 * He exported his Blog then used the xml file to import it in the freshly installed
   WordPress but he only gets his post up till August 2009 all posts after August
   2009 are not imported. How can we fix this problem?

 * If they aren’t in the database (use [phpMyAdmin](http://codex.wordpress.org/phpMyAdmin)
   to look at wp_posts table) then try the import again (and again if necessary).

 * Thanks for replying to my problem 🙂
 * I checked wp_posts table in phpMyAdmin and it’s fine. I’m not sure if you ask
   me to import again using the WordPress Tool section or maybe there’s a way to
   import using phpMyAdmin?
 * Should I re-import using wordpress tools section again and again?

 * If the ‘missing’ posts are not in the wp_posts table then yes try the import 
   again.
