# Problems importing wordpress

 * I downloaded and activated the plugin. but when i click wordpress from Tools –
   Import – wordpress, it says like this. whats the problem?
 * Before you can upload your import file, you will need to fix the following error:
 * Unable to create directory C:\inetpub\vhosts\aruntuts.com\httpdocs/wp-content/
   uploads/2011/06. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

 * The WordPress PHP scripts do not have the correct permissions to create the necessary
   upload directories in which the import file will be stored.
 * You’ll have the same issue when trying to add new Media to this WordPress site
   as WordPress will not be able to upload the files correctly.
 * Speak to your web host about the best method to fix the issue.
