# Problems installing custom Theme! Please Read!

 * I created my own theme.
    I found out how to upload it via ftp. BUT , I would 
   like to know how to compress the file to a .rar file for others to be able to
   download it.

 * Download a compression software (e.g. Winrar or something) then use that to compress
   your file(s).

 * Please consider using .zip instead.
 * Only .zip compressed archives can be automatically installed via the WordPress
   Dashboard.

 * On Mac, you’d just right-click the theme directory and choose Compress.
 * On a PC, there’s probably some software that can do it. If there’s a WinRar, 
   there’s probably a WinZip too.
