# Problems installing WP update

 * I’ve check my server’s php and SQL, both are higher than 5.0, I’ve deactivate
   my plug-ins but whenever I try to update WP I get the following message:
 * “Downloading update from [http://wordpress.org/wordpress-3.4.1-no-content.zip…](http://wordpress.org/wordpress-3.4.1-no-content.zip…)
 * Download failed.: Couldn’t resolve host ‘wordpress.org’
 * Installation Failed”
 * I’m currently running 3.3.2
 * MJ

 * That sounds more like a proxy server/firewall issue on your web host. Are you
   hosting on a corporate network rather than using commercial web hosting? If so,
   talk to the Security Boys in your corporation, and they should have an answer
   for you.

 * Thanks for your quick response. I’m hosting on hostgator which is commercial 
   web hosting. I’ll check with them unless you have another suggestion.
