# problems loading a plugin

 * Hello,
 * I am building a new website and have installed ithemes security. I am now trying
   to install a WooCommerce extension and I am unable to activate the license key.
   Woocommerce have suggested that it could be that the htaccess rules have been
   changed.
 * Would your security plugin have done this? Are you able to help at all?

 * Hi, Thanks Gerroald. I have done that, but it has made no difference. I have 
   tried deactivating ithemes security as well but the problem still persists.

 * Hey NayTay,
 * This may not be related to iThemes Security at all. If they think it’s related
   to the .htaccess rules, you could temporally clear them and see if that helps.
