 * Hello, I have installed the plugin and followed all the configuration steps.
   The problem is that saving the changes does nothing, it does not save the data.
 * I have disabled all plugins that could conflict.
 * I have WordPress version 5.8.2 and PHP version 7.4.23
 * Thanks.`

 * You mean after submitting the form?
 * Is your mapping live?

 * Hello, thanks for answering.
 * I mean the backend. I choose all the data, I put the mapping live and when I
   click on save, everything returns to blank and the mapping in draft.
 * The url form that I sent you is the first one that appears.
 * Thanks.

 * which means you have an error either on your admin page (inspect the js console)
   or on your server (enable WP_DEBUG mode to get error notices). Let me know what
   errors you find

 * I found a bug which could explain your issue.
 * I have fixed it in the v5.4.5 beta 1 which you can find in the [github repo](https://github.com/aurovrata/post-my-cf7-form/releases/tag/v5.4.5beta1).
   Can you manually update your version using the zip file and let me know if it
   resolves your issue?

 * Ok it’s working. The problem for me now is that it keeps it in a section other
   than the post.
 * A pushpin has been created in the menu with the name of the category
 * Can this be modified so that it saves them directly in the post?
 * Thanks!

 * indeed, you have to configure your mapping to save to an existing post type or
   a new custom post type. You’ve used the custom type.

 * go through the [tutorials](https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLblJwjs_dFBtQzwPMoMFf-vsXkhuKHKhV)
   to understand how to tune your mapping, the 2nd video on the list walks you through
   the mapping a form to the existing Post section.

 * Can confirm that this fix helped me as well.
 * I have a CPT with adoptions, I use this so people can send adoption proposals
   that need to be reviewd by an NGO.
 * p.s. I had to change the settings from new post to existing post, because it
   was seeing a custom CPT that was not defined by me; after that I could see my
   CPT and could save that properly — after the update.
