# Problems Using The Post Data Form Field

 * I am in the process of building a food blog web site at [http://www.winthropiga.com.au](http://www.winthropiga.com.au).
 * The site is for the use of friends and family to share recipes, and I would like
   them to be able to submit recipes from the front end of the site without actually
   logging in and becoming WordPress users.
 * I have constructed a form with Forminator using the Post Data field, and have
   duplicated that field to make separate sections for recipe title, Ingredients,
   instructions, recipe notes and nutrition information etc., as well as post categories
   and tags.
 * I was under the impression that this would result in one draft post with all
   the uploaded information.
 * However it has actually resulted in a several draft posts – i.e. one for each
   section of the form.
 * I have several questions:
 * 1.Is there any way to make the information on my form appear in one post on the
   back end, with the category and tag(s) that have been selected?
 * I appreciate that the information for all these sections could be entered in
   one “content” field, but I doubt that my end user audience will have the formatting
   skills to be able to separate the information into headings and paragraphs.
 * 2.I have added drop down lists of categories and tags, but It appears that only
   one of each can be selected.
 * Is there any method available to select multiple categories or tags?
 * 3.I have built my recipe post template using the Elementor and Advanced Custom
   Fields plugins.
 * Is there any way that the information entered on a particular section of the
   form (e.g. ingredients) can be routed directly to the appropriate custom field
   for the template, rather than just remaining as part of the post content?
 * The form can be accessed by way of a popup link (constructed with Hustle) in
   the right hand sidebar on the home page under the heading “Submit Your Own Recipe”.
 * The site is in the early stages of construction, with a lot of dummy content,
   and is not available to the general public as yet.
 * I would appreciate any assistance, and I can arrange for back end access as an
   Administrator if required.
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fproblems-using-the-post-data-form-field%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)

 * Hi [@mc1969](https://wordpress.org/support/users/mc1969/)
 * I hope you are doing good today.
 * > 1. Is there any way to make the information on my form appear in one post on
   > the back end, with the category and tag(s) that have been selected?
 * This is possible by default. Please edit your form and edit your “Post Data”
   field. Double-check on the list does “Categories” is enabled. When the form is
   published on the front end, you should see select of categories, and as soon
   the form will be sent, data will be assigned to this category or tag, no matter
   did you made Status as a draft, pending review, or published.
 * **2. I have added drop down lists of categories and tags, but It appears that
   only one of each can be selected.** This is possible by default as well. Please
   edit your form and edit your “Post Data” field. Navigate to the settings tab
   and you will see “Taxonomies limits” at the bottom.

 * I’m afraid this will be no possible.
 * Kind Regards,
    Kris
