# Problems with a caption/title

 * I need to have the title of each image underneath the slideshow. Following some
   advice on the plugin website I’ve added a line to the meteor-slideshow.php file
   and then changed it slightly as the text was half over the image and half under
   it. So the line I’ve got that works is
    <p style=”display:inline-block;”><?php
   the_title(); ?></p>
 * However, it only works with a single line of text in the title … if there’s any
   more then it all overlaps so it’s unreadable.And as soon as I add a second image
   the title disappears completely!
 * Please advise!! I’d really like to get a caption/title working here.

 * You shouldn’t have to use an inline style or change the display type of the captions,
   did you add the custom CSS for the captions like in the example [in the documentation](http://jleuze.com/plugins/meteor-slides/customizing-the-slideshow-template/)?

 * Yes it made absolutely no difference at all ….. not sure if it might be conflicting
   with the theme (Atahualpa)

 * Agh ignore me … I’d copied the code but not thought to remove the numbers 1-12…..
   looks much better now!
