Problems with Analytics and Facebook Pixel

    Before giving a bad review I want to give the developer a chance, so here’s my situation:

    I’ve installed this plugin and followed all example articles (from DuracellTomi’s website) to the letter on implementation of Google Analytics, Facebook pixel and AdWords remarketing.

    It seemed as if all was well, because the Tag Assistant and Facebook Pixel helper are both green, so I spent countless hours and days with Google support and trying to get Facebook help (impossible by the way) on why I’m seeing lots fewer sessions in Analytics than I should and why I’m not seeing the pixel as installed within Facebook.

    Not finding a solution I switched to manual implementation of the code (no tag manager) and all is well now.

    I would still like to use this plugin if I get a timely response from the developer, as manual implementation of the Analytics Code for enhanced e-commerce is nothing to look forward to. But short of that, I will give this plugin a bad review as I wasted many days trying to figure out what was wrong with the implementation, while everything looked right.

    I’m beginning to think that a manual installation is more reliable than this plugin.

    I would love to see a knowledgeable article written on how to properly implement Google Tag Manager for a WordPress and Woocommerce site and track for analytics and all other tracking codes. Facebook, twitter, pinterest and other ad networks.

    Please remember, this is a free plugin mostly created for those who are already familiar with GTM. I always try to help for everyone but I have my own paid job where I need to be there especially at the end of the year where everything gets faster.
