 * Hello my current host (which I’m trying to MOVE from) just jumped from 7.4 to
   8.1. So I had to make a leap to 8.1, which I think is too much.
 * I only have Ashe on this one blog out of 6. I got error of Abspath already defined.
   Tried to figure out how to change the wp-config, but wasn’t sure about it, so
   I just tested all plugins. I had to delete Favicon and Classic Widgets so now
   I have no sidebar. 🙁
 * In addition, I’m getting a warning in Site Health that there are too many autoloads.
   I used the Autoload Checker, but I don’t think it’s any plugin.
 * Is Ashe updated for 8.1 php? Again, I have no control over that unless I go back
   to 7.4!

 * Hi [@fallback2](https://wordpress.org/support/users/fallback2/)
 * Thank you for contacting us.
 * Yes, Ashe is compatible with PHP 8.1. The issue you described does not appear
   to be caused directly by the theme.
 * The “ABSPATH already defined” error is usually related to WordPress core configuration,
   wp-config.php, server setup, or plugin conflict — not the theme itself.
 * Regarding the Site Health warning about too many autoloaded options, this is
   also usually related to database/plugin settings stored in WordPress, not theme
   compatibility.
 * We recommend the following:
 * Keep WordPress, Ashe, and all plugins updated to the latest versions.
   Ask your
   hosting provider to check the PHP error logs.Ask your hosting provider to review
   the wp-config.php file and confirm it is correctly configured.Check whether the
   removed plugins are fully compatible with PHP 8.1 before reinstalling them.
 * If the site works correctly with Ashe active and the issue appears only with
   certain plugins enabled, the problem is most likely caused by those plugins or
   server configuration.
 * Kind Regards
