 * Hello,
    Since I’ve installed the latest version 4.9.0 of iTheme Security the
   following basic features are not working:
 * -WP Salts,
    -Change database prefix – Admin name
 * (I can’t modify any of them: I can’t create a new admin name, can’t create Salts
   or change database prefix. I tick the box but nothing appears underneath to allow
   me to make necessary changes).
 * I used your previous versions on my other websites and it worked perfectly well.
 * Please help me to slove these problems.
 * Many thanks,
    Nadine

 * (If you don’t mind below I have sorted the Advanced settings in the order as
   one would see the metaboxes presented in the Advanced tab. And I’ve also adopted
   the metaboxes names).
    - Admin User
    - Ticking the **Enable Change Admin User** checkbox will only present you with
      an input field to enter a new user name if the “admin” user name exists.

      Otherwise it will only present the **Change User ID 1** checkbox to change
      the user id 1 into something else. If there is no “admin” user and no user
      ID 1 there is nothing to do for this feature. So there will not be any **Enable
      Change Admin User** checkbox displayed.
    - WordPress Salts
    - Ticking the **Change WordPress Salts** checkbox will never present you any
      other input or checkboxes.
       The iTSec plugin will always generate random salts
      for you.
    - Change Database Prefix
    - Ticking the **Change Table Prefix** checkbox will also never present you any
      other input or checkboxes.
       The iTSec plugin will always generate a random
      prefix for you.

 * Hello Dwinden,
 * Thank you for your reply and sorry for not being able to contact you earlier.

   You are saying …”_Otherwise it will only present the Change User ID 1 checkbox
   to change the user id 1 into something else_“. The problem is that it doesn’t
   present me with The Change User ID 1 checkbox to change the user ID 1 into something
   else. This is the problem. It allows me to do so in your previous versions of
   your software that I installed earlier on my other websites. It works there,
   but it doesnt work in your new version. It looks like I can not do much about.
   I also thought it is not secure when it doesnt’ allow you to modify an ending
   after the website url address (instead of… /wp-admin)….
 * If you can’t suggest anything else, then I will just hope that my website is
   safe…
 * Kind regards,
    Nadine

 * Hi Nadine,
 * Normally when you tick the **Enable Change Admin User** checkbox the **Change
   User ID 1** checkbox is displayed right underneath it.
 * If that does not work (perhaps even for multiple settings) it might be a javascript\
   jquery issue specific for that env.
    Check for any errors in the browser javascript
   console.
 * If possible provide me with a screenshot that clearly shows:
    - The **Admin User** metabox in the Advanced tab\page
    - Any error in the browser javascript console
 * … and I’m sure we can figure out what’s going on.
