problems with contact form 7

    I have no problem downloading and installing the contact form 7 plug-in, however when I activate the contact form 7 plugin, I can no longer edit my pages. When I navigate to the “pages” section within wordpress dashboard and click on a specific page to edit, that page does not load (just a blank screen). When I deactivate the plugin, then I can edit the pages. Strange. I cannot imagine there is compatibility issue since this is one of the most downloaded plugins, so why would I be having issues? I really need a contact form, so any help would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks!

    Try deactivating all other plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    Thanks for your quick reply. I don’t have any other plugins activated. Contact form 7 is definitely causing the problem, I’m just now sure why or how. When I deactivate it – everything works fine…

    Have you tried switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

    strange… as I was trouble shooting there was a newer version of contact form 7 that was released… I used the newer version and it works!
