Since that is a commercial theme, we ask that you please go to their official support channel, so you can get support from the people who know it best: https://themeforest.net/item/collective-minimal-wordpress-theme/16956348/support

Forum volunteers do not have access to commercial products, so they would not know why it is not working correctly. Other community members who may have faced your issue might be able to help you, but your best bet is your product’s developer. We encourage you to use the official support venues, as it allows the developers to be aware of issues with their code and gives back to the community in a more robust way.

    So here’s the page:

    and the back:

I got a third party to install the theme. I see it has a plugin WP Bakery – not sure what it’s for or how it got there, it might be the problem. Can I just uninstall it? Any thoughts appreciated. I’m a beginner at wordpress.

    Thanks James.

I’ve tried but the author is not responsive.

How did you find out the theme details so fast? Impressive!

Ok, similarly, that is a commercial plugin, and you can find their support at https://support.wpbakery.com

View source in your browser on the site and in-page search for /wp-content/theme/ 😉
