# Problems with Hacks?

 * I am trying to figure out the reason that my site keeps getting hacked (3 times
   in 2 months while using this theme) … I would really like to use this theme, 
   but I am nervous now that there was some vulnerability with it… has anyone else
   had any problems?

 * Yeah I have read through all of the sites you suggested, and did everything that
   I understood… We are changing our Host to DreamHost so i am hoping that will 
   solve the problem… but do you think the template is safe to use?

 * I really can’t say – themes that are included in the repository on this site 
   ARE carefully tested and SHOULD be secure, but hacks can happen in a lot of ways.
   Where was your site hosted? Are (and were) you using the most current version
   of WP and the theme (looks like there is a recent update)?
 * And when you say, everything you understood, were there big things you left out
   or didn’t do?

 * I was hosting at webhostingpad.com and currently I still am, but I am in the 
   process of trying to figure out how to switch it over, which I am hoping to resolve
   today.
 * I was updating the site with all of the updates for plugins and the theme and
   I think for wordpress in general whenever an update would appear in my dashboard.
   Should I be managing that differently.
 * the security measures that I took 3 times were deleting the entire installation
   and then restarting from scratch… changing the security keys and changing all
   of my passwords… I also got a plugin to check for theme problems and it said 
   that infoway was fine… the only other plugin that I was using was a facebook 
   like box plugin, and I also am utilizing google docs for people to apply for 
   job positions online. I turned off all of the posting options on all of the pages
   because we didn’t need them….
 * does it sound like I am missing something big in security? I am very new to all
   of this…
