# Problems with Importing WordPress XML File

 * I have a blog at wordpress.com and I exported it (it says it’s around 8MB) and
   now I tried importing it to my self-hosted blog. It didn’t work and the error
   says:
 * **File is empty. Please upload something more substantial. This error could also
   be caused by uploads being disabled in your php.ini or by post_max_size being
   defined as smaller than upload_max_filesize in php.ini.**
 * The xml file is not empty as I just checked it. Does anyone know what the problem
   could be?
