# Problems with installing plugins

 * If i try to install plugins i get following error (sorry its in german, use deepl
   for translations):

 * Please check and update “plugins” directory file permissions and then try to 
   upload / add new plugin from WordPress admin section.

 * This is happening because the new plugin is trying to declare this “plugins_api()”
   function name which is already declared and defined in WordPress core. So, due
   to that reason, this plugin is not installed on your website. To resolve you 
   need to contact the support team of the plugin and inform them this same thing.

   i didnt install or try anything i get that error by entering the plugins section.
   I’ll lookup the permissions and report back.
 * EDIT: nothing wrong with the permissions…
