• Hi

    This is an awesome plugin!

I do have a couple of problems, though. One of them being that email address validation does not work properly, which means that either the user does not get a mail or else the user is prompted to enter a valid email address (even if the address is perfectly valid).

    Scenario 1:
Mail is considered invalid if user enters upper case letters in email address

If a user enters an email address (e.g. to have the result of a quiz sent to his/her email), then the user gets an error: “You must specify an email address.”

The error only occurs in case of a capital letter anywhere in an email address (e.g. [email protected] or [email protected] etc.).

Workaround is to ask the user to enter the email in lower case, but I’d rather that it worked in all cases 🙂

    Scenario 2:
Mail that ends with a ‘blank space’ is accepted in interface, but no mail is sent to the user.

This scenario probably occurs mostly on mobile phones, where a users email address is auto-completed. Then a ‘blank space’ is added to the end of the email address.

The user is not notified about this. The result is that the user has entered an email address (which is valid, apart from the trailing space) and is expecting a mail in his/her mailbox. But a mail is never sent…

Is it possible to have these issues fixed (soon)? 🙂

    Thanks and regards
    Johnny

    Bump?

Johnny, We just installed this plugin the other day and found out about the capital letter in an email address gives the (not valid error) which it was a valid email, it just had the first letter capitalized. We have not tried an email address that has a blank space in it though. The email is of announce for people on mobile devices where the device usually auto capitalizes the first letter in a text box.

This is a pretty amazing plugin for quizzes!

I agree. This is an awesome plugin! Or rather: This could have been an awesome plugin 🙂
I just find it too buggy (right now mail just stopped working with an “undelivered mail to sender” – and I haven’t changed a ting…), so I won’t be using it. A real pity, because I can find very few plugins that support my needs.

I need a tool in which I can easily set up:
Multiple choice quizzes (as well as other types og quizzes)
    With grading, tips and solutions
    100% language configurable
100% configurable on question pooling, question/answer ordering, numbering etc.
Asking for an email to send the results to (and nice looking, parameter controlled HTML emails)
    Integratable with WordPress
Preferably also with certificates download/print (not a must)

It also fails in a case like:

    [email protected]

If you really want to nail it, something like these is the way to go: http://emailregex.com/
