# problems with reinstalling wordpress

 * Because I was having various problems I decided to start from scratch. Using 
   filezilla and bplaced. I then got this message
 * ‘You appear to have already installed WordPress. To reinstall please clear your
   old database tables first.’
 * So I followed the advice given here:

 * In short I changed the table prefix using filezilla (by right clicking on wp-
   config.php and going to view/edit and changing the wp_ to wp1_. Then saved and
   updated the file.
 * Then went back to word press and now I get this message:
 * Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘WP_DEBUG’ (T_STRING) in /users/escotb/
   www/wordpress/wp-config.php on line 71
 * So I changed the configurations back to wp_ but I still get the message.
 * Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!

 * I have sorted the problem.
 * I deleted wp-config.php then made the changes above to wp-config-sample.php and
   it is working!
