# Problems with the_author_posts_link

 * I’m finding that on a somewhat random case by case situation that “the_author_posts_link”
   doesn’t link to the author’s page of their posts, but links to the url that they
   have set as their home page.
 * [An example](http://www.myconfinedspace.com/tag/legos/) ([http://www.myconfinedspace.com/tag/legos/](http://www.myconfinedspace.com/tag/legos/))
   
   The first two are linking as expected, straight to the author’s page. The third
   one is linking to the user’s url.
 * Any ideas on what’s going on here?
