# Problems with WordPress Generators (wp version generator)

 * I can’t remove wordpress version.
 * This is what WP adds to my header:
 * <script type=”text/javascript” charset=”utf-8″ src=”&type=wordpress2.9.2&wp=2.9.2″

 * Does anybody know how to fix this?

 * Have you tried:
 * – deactivating **all** plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works,
   re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
 * – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?
