# Processes?

 * I am seeing high levels of memory usage after hours. After looking at all the
   plugins we think it could be due to either WF or UpdraftPlus either backups or
   scans.
 * So the question is, what processes does WF run? is there a way of scheduling 
   those processes so they don’t run at the same time as other plugin processes?

 * Wordfence runs on forks of the web service process. (So in most cases, the process
   name is just called `php`)
 * Can you go into Wordfence -> Scan -> Scan Options and Scheduling -> Scan Scheduling,
   and click disable?
 * See if memory usage drops significantly from this change, and if not, it might
   be another plugin that is causing the memory spikes.
