Product attribute/variable as a condition

Hi, firstly this is a pretty awesome plugin.
I’m just wondering if it’s possible (possibly through custom coding) if you can have the product variation as a condition too.

For example I’m trying to set up my shop to sell prints, and I have prints in 3 sizes. Large, Small and Card. They are each different prices to ship. The large being 15, the small being 10 and the card being 4. This is set up as a variable product, And at the moment I have to give each variable a different shipping class. It’s a pain to do and I keep forgetting to do it. I thought it would just be easier if the attribute was conditional in the shipping settings, then I can set it and forget it. So I could say for example if Product has a small print then shipping would be $10 etc. Hope that makes sense.
