    Hi,
I’m currently troubleshooting an issue I found
If you look at my shop, you can click on the preview product button (see the eye on each product). This loads up a frame with the description and images to preview the product quickly (this is made with Essential Addons Woocommerce Product Gallery). However, these images do not populate. In a staging environment I have noticed however that deactivating a specific plugin, the “Additional Variation Images Gallery for WooCommerce” plugin, returns the functionality and images load up again.

I reported this to said plugin’s developer, but was sent here to report it to EA. Would you be able to help me further troubleshoot the issue? Thanks a lot!

    Hello @boxhamster

    Greetings!

After carefully reviewing the reported behavior from our end, we have investigated the setup and the interaction involved. Based on our findings, we can confirm that the issue is not originating from Essential Addons or the WooCommerce Product Gallery feature.

The conflict is being caused by the “Additional Variation Images Gallery for WooCommerce” plugin. As you already observed, when this plugin is deactivated, the preview images load correctly, which strongly indicates that the functionality disruption is coming from that plugin’s implementation.

At this stage, the required fix would need to be addressed from the plugin developer’s side, as the behavior stems from how that plugin modifies or overrides WooCommerce gallery output. From our perspective, Essential Addons is functioning as expected.

So, I would suggest you to contact their support platform.

Please feel free to reach out if you need anything further from our side.

    Warm regards,
