• Five stars.

Looked for a plugin which would allow to create my own calculators (body weight, fat etc.).

Tried a number of other solutions, including outer sources. For me this plugin is the best. Created 7-8 calculators for my site and have a plan to work out much more – I got the tool… Study the additional features, but it works from the box!

    1. Creating a new claculator is provided in an intiutively clear way.
    2. Allows practically arbitrary formulae (collecting different data and finding sum of quadratic differences, percents etc., was my aim).
    3. Provides calculations on-fly.
    4. Very light, page downloading rate is the same.
    5. What is important, perfectly works for mobile devices.
    6. Free.

    Well done, guys!

    Wish list:
    i) Had problems with displaying multiple choice of formula entries. Sometimes did not worked correctly – tried in a different regimes. Finally starts to work but why it happened – no idea.
ii) It would be nice if there will be a possibility to draw beautiful diagramms, charts etc.
iii) If there will be a way to store data in the database and then use it for computing – the plugin would be very powerful for other problems.
iv) Would be nice if there will be exel-like way of editing. Kind of exel for wordpress…

    Hello @allakis

Thank you very much for the review.

    Concerning to the wishes list:

    i) Had problems with displaying multiple choice of formula entries. Sometimes did not worked correctly – tried in a different regimes. Finally starts to work but why it happened – no idea.

A: Could you include the URL to the page where the form is inserted, and indicate the equation or dependencies that are not working properly, please?

ii) It would be nice if there will be a possibility to draw beautiful diagramms, charts etc.

A: That’s possible using another plugin called CP Blocks. It includes complementary blocks that can be inserted into forms created with the “Calculated Fields Form”, some of them allows to include charts: https://services.dwbooster.com/blocks/Charts

iii) If there will be a way to store data in the database and then use it for computing – the plugin would be very powerful for other problems.

A: Every commercial version of the plugin stores the data submitted by the forms in your website’s database, however, I guess you are referring to the DS fields distributed with the Developer and Platinum versions of the plugin. The set of DS fields is a set of fields whose values are read from external data-sources, like a database or CSV file, to be used in the forms and equations: https://cff.dwbooster.com/documentation#datasource-fields

iv) Would be nice if there will be exel-like way of editing. Kind of exel for wordpress…

A: If you are referring to the way that Excel edit the equations using range of cells and sheets, etc. I’m sorry, that won’t be possible, because our plugin is not an Excel emulator, however, if you are talking about display the fields in a table format instead a simple list, yes that’s possible, please, read the following entry in the plugin’s blog: https://cff.dwbooster.com/blog/2019/01/06/columns/?index=1

Note that the structure of table is applied in the form’s preview, and not in the edition.

    Best regards.
