    Serious issues across ALL my UM SITES since latest update… fields are going missing from front end profile forms (not for admin, only for users) and fields becoming uneditable for users for no reason. All permissions are set for users to be able edit. Once forms and fields re-updated in dashboard (I’ve done this 20 times on 2 sites since 2 days) they work and can be edited by user only temporarily… and then the fields are blocked again. This is across ALL my sites using UM. What’s happened? Does anyone else have this? I’ve checked for plugin conflcit and no resolve. This is really urgent.

    @missveronicatv deactivated SG optimizer. Issue remains without change.

    Is your Web Hosting using any security/firewall software tools like “ModSecurity”?

    SG security. Used to use wordfence. Disabled SG. No change to issues. Other site doesn’t use it either.

    you could register if you like… all the fields are set to user can edit. The ones ones working and the ones blocked change… on log out and log in.

    @missveronicatv Each time I manually update a field in UM forms creation on WP dash… then update the form… on the user end it works on page refresh. Then, stops working a short while later. Only custom fields.

    Yes time dependent issues are often caching issues.

    Have you tried the UM Settings -> Secure -> Scanner?

    @missveronicatv All green ticks no issues

    I need to enable strong passwords is all. I’m exhausted and close to giving up. Everything was fine up til 2 days ago. I haven’t made any changes. Going through forms on back again… updating fields and retesting. Each works again… for a short time. Same on the other site.

    I think we should reinstall UM 2.6.9 now and see if this issue is resolved.

    Install the “WP Rollback” plugin and select a reinstall of UM 2.6.9.

    Thank you for sticking with me… honestly… genuinely appreciate this. I’ll go do that. I want to stick with UM… changing at this stage would be a nightmare. @missveronicatv

    I did this just now before sending this message and all my settings have been removed. Pages etc. All page restrictions and text block restriciton settings have been removed too.

    “Do you have a backup to restore?”. From yesterday. I’m on the floor with this. A recent back up would only reinstall the later plugin.

    How is the status of the checkbox at UM Settings -> Misc -> Remove Data on Uninstall?

    @missveronicatv I have now reset pages and restrictions. Have updated every single field in back end forms. I’ll see how long that lasts. If it remains without issue… the UM update version is likely the problem. Everything else has been checked for conflicts.
