 * Using the Wp-members profile page how do we get the inbuilt wordpress biographical
   and gravtar elements to show?

 * I’m not sure exactly what direction this question is going. Are you talking about
   when the user is logged in? Or are you talking about editing those in the profile
   update?

 * In the standard WP user details there are elements like Gravatar icons and biographical
   info. But these are not managed through WP-members from what I can see. I was
   hoping to show that info on the profile page.

 * Gravatars are not handled within WordPress. A gravatar is connected to a user’s
   email address and is managed globally through gravatar.com.
 * As for any other fields, WP-Members installs a number of fields to get you started.
   But you can add/remove any fields you want. That includes WP default user fields
   such as the biographical info field. For any field that is used in WP or another
   plugin, just make sure the meta key used when you create the field is the same.
   In the case of the default bio field, the meta key is “description”.
