Profile photos no longer showing

    Using this plugin for many years with success. Since some time (not sure when exactly) profile pics are no longer showing up. Be it in the member directory or even in the profile edit section. Even trying to upload a new profile doesn’t seem to work anymore. All date is there however, and I can see all profile pics properly in wp-content/uploads/ultimatemember/… Nothing specifically was done on the site, other then keeping everything up2date. We are on v 2.10.6, i.e. latest stable. I have tried downgrading to 2.10.5 and 2.10.4 with same results. Nothing specific showing up in the web server logs neither that might point into some troubleshooting direction. Have you seen this behavior before?

    Hello @apiosys,

    Maybe you disabled avatars globally. Please go to wp-admin > Settings > Discussion and turn on the Avatar Display (Show Avatars) setting. This is a global setting that affects all avatars in all plugins, including the profile photo in the Ultimate Member plugin.

    Thanks @yuriinalivaiko . That was indeed the culprit ! Thanks for that. I’m pretty sure it was switched off before though and did work with UM. I log all changes done to the site with the Activity Log plugin and don’t see any change in the past 3 months on that (just show_avatars right now when I enabled it) and this started happening most probably a few weeks ago. Maybe something that was introduced in a recent update in UM? Anyway, I know to leave that on for now then. Many thanks again!
