# Profile Picture Disappear

 * We have BuddyPress installed and now I want to use Ultimate Member.
 * If I keep them both enabled, then then after a few hours all the members disappear
   from the page. If when I disable BuddyPress, then everybody’s profile picture
   disappears. Has anyone experienced this?

 * I’d need more info (and I’m not a UM dev, full disclosure), but hope to help.
   
   Having two plugins that “do th3e same thing” as in your case will often cause
   problems as they are trying to “fight” for the same space in the code (easiest
   way to put it).Here is a potential problem though, the images were uploaded using
   BuddyPress. I am not as familiar with BP, but in UM those images don’t actualyl
   get stores in the WordPress Media Library, but rather some other databse (that
   I have yet to find, to be honest, and it’sd kind of a pain, wish they would justget
   stores smewhere obvious and accessible). It’s likely that BP does somthing similar.
   I would reccomend turning off BuddyPress, CLEARING CACHE, then going into the
   profiles to see if the image exists there. If it does, great, there are probably
   some simple solutions. If not, then UM is not pulling the image database correctly.

 * Hi, thanks for getting back to me. Yes, I have figured out you can only use one
   or the other. I tried what you said and that didn’t work. The problem with Buddypress
   is that is also creates an extended profile section which is only visible with
   BuddyPress. I found that the images are stores in dozens of folders on the server
   and each photo is numeric, it doesn’t put the user name to the photo so you would
   not know who the photo belonged to. I really want to use UM and I dont mind save
   each profile photo and manually adding them to each user, but what do we do with
   the extended profile section. Take a look at how BuddyPress displays the user

   with all these files. Does UM have a option to add them? Thanks
