# Proofread not working

 * I am getting “There was a problem communicating with the Proofreading service.
   Try again in one minute.” on clicking on proofread button.

 * I am having the same problem… getting an error 500 and a message about an ajax
   problem… If you hit update or publish again it does work but it is annoying as
   I like to use it… 😀
 * This has happened since the latest update yesterday. Using the latest wordpress
   release.

   I updated jetpack yesterday and have had problems ever since.

   fix very soon. In the meantime, you can apply the fix to your copy of Jetpack
   by replacing `modules/after-the-deadline/proxy.php` by this version of the file:
